I wonder is it simply me falling in the trap of nostalgia or are there fewer bands making those iconic albums. Maybe, I am just not hearing the right ones.<\/p>\n<p>One bright spot has been a newer feature from Amazon where they give you access to the digital copy of the CD as soon as you buy the physical one. They call it &#8220;auto-rip&#8221; or some shitty marketing name like that, but the end result rocks. I get the CD to enjoy when I want to and I get the music right freaking now, no waiting.<\/p>\n<p>Here are my reviews (done in short hand so they will only make sense to people who already know who the bands are, because that seems the style of music reviews anymore):<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B00AFOS6QG\/ref=as_li_ss_il?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B00AFOS6QG&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=lm3mspace-20\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" style=\"border: 0px; margin: 5px;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/ws.assoc-amazon.com\/widgets\/q?_encoding=UTF8&amp;ASIN=B00AFOS6QG&amp;Format=_SL110_&amp;ID=AsinImage&amp;MarketPlace=US&amp;ServiceVersion=20070822&amp;WS=1&amp;tag=lm3mspace-20\" width=\"80\" height=\"110\" border=\"0\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=lm3mspace-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B00AFOS6QG\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/>Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds<\/a> &#8211; about what you would expect, sadly. Not an epic, blow your socks off album (see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B004ZEXQEE\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B004ZEXQEE&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=lm3mspace-20\">Murder Ballads<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B004ZEXNWO\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B004ZEXNWO&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=lm3mspace-20\">Let Love In<\/a>), but a solid album from a great artist and band.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B00B1OWEVC\/ref=as_li_ss_il?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B00B1OWEVC&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=lm3mspace-20\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" style=\"border: 0px; margin: 5px;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/ws.assoc-amazon.com\/widgets\/q?_encoding=UTF8&amp;ASIN=B00B1OWEVC&amp;Format=_SL110_&amp;ID=AsinImage&amp;MarketPlace=US&amp;ServiceVersion=20070822&amp;WS=1&amp;tag=lm3mspace-20\" width=\"110\" height=\"99\" border=\"0\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=lm3mspace-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B00B1OWEVC\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/>How to Destroy Angels<\/a> &#8211; Interesting, continuing the work they did on the EPs though&#8230;<br \/>\nOK, I need to stop this review right here. I have something I need to say. Though this album is pretty good, but it is not <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Nine-Inch-Nails\/e\/B000APYLU0\/?_encoding=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;linkCode=ur2&amp;qid=1362684134&amp;sr=1-1&amp;tag=lm3mspace-20\" target=\"_blank\">NIN<\/a>. It has more Trent vocals than the preceding two EPs and is completely listenable and enjoyable. BUT, IT IS NOT F&#8217;ing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Nine-Inch-Nails\/e\/B000APYLU0\/?_encoding=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;linkCode=ur2&amp;qid=1362684134&amp;sr=1-1&amp;tag=lm3mspace-20\" target=\"_blank\">NIN<\/a>, dammit.<br \/>\nIt is interesting to hear Trent&#8217;s music with another singing, especially a woman voice.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B00AYHKIZ6\/ref=as_li_ss_il?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=B00AYHKIZ6&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=lm3mspace-20\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" style=\"border: 0px; margin: 5px;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/ws.assoc-amazon.com\/widgets\/q?_encoding=UTF8&amp;ASIN=B00AYHKIZ6&amp;Format=_SL110_&amp;ID=AsinImage&amp;MarketPlace=US&amp;ServiceVersion=20070822&amp;WS=1&amp;tag=lm3mspace-20\" width=\"110\" height=\"110\" border=\"0\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=lm3mspace-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B00AYHKIZ6\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/>David Bowie<\/a> &#8211; Still waiting on this one. From the listens on iTunes, more <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B0013AT2WI\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B0013AT2WI&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=lm3mspace-20\">Hours<\/a> than\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B00138D000\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B00138D000&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=lm3mspace-20\">Heathen<\/a>, and Heathen is my favorite of the post-<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B00138F8NC\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B00138F8NC&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=lm3mspace-20\">Outside<\/a> albums. Makes me said I have not been listening to it since.
